Labs Leadership grows

Julie T. Donofrio, AICP, has joined OLIN as Labs Co-Coordinator, beginning in April 2023, working directly with Labs Coordinator Rebecca Popowsky. Prior to joining OLIN, Julie was the Managing Director of PennPraxis, at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design, from 2015 to 2022, where she also served on the faculty of the Department of City and Regional. Julie is widely recognized as a scholar and practitioner of equitable practices and inclusive processes for community engagement in design. She will be supporting all of Lab’s initiatives, bringing a sharpened focus on engagement, equity and inclusion to the practice as a whole.

Prior to Penn, Julie worked for WRT in Philadelphia and San Francisco, and for AECOM (formerly EDAW) in San Diego. She holds a Bachelors degree in History and Spanish from Wake Forest University, and has lived in the East Passyunk neighborhood of South Philadelphia since 2013.
