OLIN Labs Presents at the Association for Community Design

This February, OLIN Labs members Dani Toronyi and Alexa Vaughn-Brainard presented at the Association for Community Design. In their presentation “Inclusion & Access for Disabled Folx in Landscape Architecture,” Dani discussed designing for Autistic and Neurodivergent people and Alexa shared her work with the Deaf community. They discussed how they’ve worked to discover parallels between their own communities and different disabled communities’ needs, with the over-arching question: how can landscape designers, architects, and planners create more accessible and inclusive landscapes for disabled folks across the spectrum of disability?
